Important Information for NEXUS Holders: GOES website to be replaced by new program on October 1

As of October 1, 2017, the Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) website is being changed to a new cloud based system called the Trusted Traveler Program (TTP).

The GOES website allows registered users to enter their own applications for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler Programs, such as NEXUS. The website is used for the transmission of applications, creation of membership accounts, receiving correspondence and the management of applicant accounts through the online portal.

September 30, 2017 will be the last day users can access the GOES website information to see their account information. After October 1, 2017 users and members will be automatically rerouted to the new TTP website. All the data from current members and submitted applicants, will be migrated over to the new TTP System. CBP recommends that all users login at least once prior to October 1 to ensure that all of the current data on GOES is saved and can be migrated seamlessly.

It is strongly recommended that all GOES users print and save a copy of their profile page which includes their PASSID membership information prior to October 1 as this information is required to reconstruct their account on the new TTP system website. When creating a TTP account, all information must match what was on their GOES account.

Any applications on the GOES website that are incomplete and have not been submitted by October 1 will automatically be cancelled and will require the applicant to reapply from the new TTP website.

The transition to the new TTP website will not affect any current memberships or submitted applications that users may have with Global Entry, Nexus, Sentri, APEC and Fast.

What to do prior to the deadline on October 1, 2017:

  • Login to your GOES account (https://goes-app.cbp.dhs.gov/) and ensure that all the information in your profile is accurate. Print and save the following from your profile; PASSID, full name, city and date of birth.
  • It is very important that you save your PASSID number which can be found in the “Change Profile” section of your GOES account.

What to do after October 1, 2017:

  • The new TTP system website can be found at https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov. If you are already a member, the GOES login information will not work on the new TTP website. When you go unto the new TTP website, there is an option to select “I’m already a program member”. The system will automatically prompt you to create a login.gov account. You will require an exclusive email address to create your account. The system will then prompt you to enter the information from your GOES membership account.
  • In order for the new account to become active and to be able to access all previous GOES data, the information from your GOES account must match exactly the new information on your TTP account.
